Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show 2026
Why exhibit at the Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show?
Since 1988 the Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show has championed the arts, welcoming discerning consumers and art lovers who buy quality, buy handmade and buy local. We believe that art inspires the soul and we’re committed to supporting art and craft creators, encouraging appreciation of the visual arts and giving artists a place to showcase and sell their work. After a significant overhaul in 2023 to reflect artists’ feedback, our show now receive overwhelmingly positive reviews. Artists tell us it is their favourite show and visitors tell us they love the variety, the laid-back atmosphere and the high quality and diversity of the exhibits and the exhibitors. It’s an outdoor gallery where art and craft lovers can experience juried exhibits, talk to artists, designers and artisans and buy one-of-a-kind pieces from some of Canada’s most creative talent.
Against the beautiful backdrop of historical Cabbagetown, the show nestles in tree-lined Riverdale Park West over the weekend after Labour Day. It’s the perfect setting to spend time connecting with other artists and talking to engaged buyers.
The Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show has a large following of loyal art lovers. They’ve been coming to the show for years, knowing they’ll find high-quality work created by talented local artists and artisans. Many creative consumers live in Cabbagetown and nearby neighbourhoods, and they enjoy collecting the works of both established and rising talent. As one of the last outdoor shows of the summer, we know that lots of our visitors see this as an opportunity to start their Holiday shopping early!
The show is juried to ensure high standards of quality, skill and creativity. In addition, the jury recognizes a handful of creators through our awards program which includes monetary prizes.
Each year we see a record number of applications, making the show more competitive than ever. Artists’ applications are due by April 26 for jury review and notifications of acceptance can be expected by June 1.
Please be aware that all jury decisions are final.

What does it cost to participate?
Cabbagetown Art & Craft is a community-based not-for-profit corporation. Keeping costs down is a priority for us. It’s how we help artists showcase and sell their work at every stage of their careers. To exhibit, artists pay an application and a booth fee, and keep 100% of their sales proceeds.

There’s a non-refundable application fee of $50 + HST. Don’t miss our Early Bird discounted application fee from February 14 through March 15 (save $10!).
